BE STILL

 

"Be still, and know that I am God;. . ." - Psalm 46:10

 

Vimalan met with an accident while riding a two-wheeler and hit his leg, he was unable to stand and went to see a famous orthopedic doctor with the help of two people. As he had severe pain, he thought that the doctor would treat him immediately. Actually, while giving first aid, the nurse asked for name, age, phone number and gave a token in his hand. Vimalan was shocked to see the token. Because the token number is 33. After 2 hours only number 20 has gone. Vimalan laments that I am in agony and I can't wait, you have made me sit like this without seeing the doctor. If you are patient, you can get proper and elegant treatment from the doctor, you will be healed and the pain will go away, the attendant showed a board with the words "Wait, wait, heal".

 

In today's busy world, waiting and being quiet is not something that anyone can afford. They wait for the doctor, for the bus, even for the train in the worldly life. But don't be quiet and grunt! But there is no waiting in the spiritual life too. When the people of Israel were freed from Egypt and came to Canaan, even though there was the Red Sea on one side and Pharaoh's army on the other side, when they went to the Lord, the Lord said, stand still and see the salvation that the Lord will do for you today. "Stand still" is in the English Bible, "Stand still and do nothing of your own accord as if you did not know what to do." When Moses stretched out the rod, the path opened, and people passed through. Not only that, he fulfilled his promise that he would never see the Egyptians whom they saw today.

 

Beloved! We may not like waiting. But you will be doing something on your own or moaning and grumbling even though you have not received it yet. Even if everything is stopped and delayed today, continue to wait with faith that the plan for me will be fulfilled in me. God will fulfil his plan for you.
