Characteristic of Cushy

 

"Tidings, my lord the king: for the LORD hath avenged thee this day…" - 2 Samuel 18:31

 

The lives of many persons are written in the Holy Bible. The lives of some characters are written for us as an example and the lives of others as a warning. Today we will try to correct ourselves by comparing Cushy’s character with ours.

 

A person who does the work ordered by -Cushy:

For example, we read that Chusy acted very quickly when he was ordered by Joab to go and tell the king what he had seen. I want to serve God. But can't quit my Job. I think I want to do my part in the Lord's command by doing part-time ministry. You can run like Cush and evangelize those who are in the king's place. May God grant you the grace to obey the commandments of Jesus, be a witness in the workplace, and do spiritual work.

 

Cush calmly ran:

Maybe we're doing a job, the career path, whatever, some promotion that's due to you may be delayed. We are called to be careful not to act hastily and restlessly and lose our composure by comparing ourselves with others.

 

Cush formally declares:

He narrates the events of the battlefield systematically and clearly. We too are called to wait in the presence of God and proclaim simple words that are easy for people to understand.

 

Fourthly, this act of Kush disturbed the king himself. Yes, the responsibility given to us by God can shake even those who are in higher positions rectified and feel the love of God.

 

Beloved! Are all the four characteristics of Kush mentioned above found among us? Isn't it? Today let us examine ourselves soberly. He is ready to use us. Are you and I ready?
