BATTERY LOW

 

"In the multitude of my thoughts within me Thy comforts delight my soul" - Psalm 94:19

 

Nowadays, cell phones are everyone's closest, secret companion for collaboration. Everyone in the house has a separate plate, tumbler and cell phone. We charge it daily to ensure that the battery does not get low. Why, if the battery is low, it will switch off soon. It cannot be used. If the battery is often low and the charger is switched off, the battery will get damaged quickly.

 

We pay so much attention to this phone or battery which can be bought in stores for a few thousand. But we forget to charge one thing every day, which is something that is not available in stores and is expensive. It is a given for everyone. What is that? That is the soul! It also needs to be charged daily. Otherwise, the soul becomes weak and gets tired of even the smallest things. Life will become dark. You have to read the Bible and pray daily to charge it. If we don't have scripture reading and prayer like current and charger to charge the phone, even small worries and difficulties will weaken us and bring us down. When we pray, we ask for His help. We give ourselves to Him, we draw near to Him, and the soul is strengthened. Not only when worries and fatigue come, but if we take up prayer as a daily routine, our spiritual strength will keep our lives useful for God and others for his sake. Just as the phone needs a charger whenever the battery is low, the soul also needs a charge. The Israelites lost Canaan because their souls grew weary of trifles. But Caleb and Joshua charged themselves with what God had done so far and made a declaration of faith and inherited Canaan.

 

Dear reading this! Soul is very expensive. It should be taken care very carefully. Watch out for the slightest hint of anxiety and fatigue. Otherwise, the battery will be low, and life will be dark. Then tears and anxiety will take over. The easiest way overcome this is to pray every morning when we wake up, read the scriptures and charge your soul. If worries and fatigue come between charging, pray again and put it in his hands and charge. Then you will get a light in your life.
