Not there but there

 

"…and calleth those things which be not as though they were…" - Romans 4:17

 

George Mueller, a minister of God, ran a home for many destitute children. He was feeding them through faith in the Lord for their daily needs.

 

One day when it was time for breakfast, there was no food. He didn’t have money to buy something. All the plates and all the tumblers were empty. But they all sat down and bowed their heads and prayed, "Our Father, thank you for the food you will give us." Before they could say Amen, they heard a knock on the door. There stood the baker. He said, “I could not slept at night, because I had an intuition that you have nothing to eat. So I got up at 2 in the morning and made these rotis fresh for you” and handed over the rotis.

 

As soon as he left, there was another knock on the door. A milkman whose cart has broken down in front of this orphanage. If I want to fix it I have to get all the milk out of it. So can you take this milk? He asked. Everyone was amazed at how the Lord had provided them with breakfast.

 

Beloved in Christ, you too may be going through a sitiuation having nothing. Don't panic. God made all things on the empty earth by word. Similarly, Abraham-Sarah, who was childless, was called the father and mother of the nations. The Lord blessed Jacob and made him the father of the tribes.

 

If we too are worried about not being happiness, not having money, living without peace, let's take a firm decision today. Let us believe that God is able to provide us all things. The Lord will surely honor our faith and grant us everything we need. So don't worry. Let us trust in God. Let's win. Amen!
