Charu’s Prayer

 

“Cast all your anxieties on him, for he is the one who cares for you" - 1 Peter 5:7

 

It is a coastal area. Dry village. There was no electricity facility or bus facility in that village. There lived a naughty girl named Charu. She studies in seventh standard. She likes to sing. She prays well. She has an elder brother, elder sister, younger brother and younger sister.

 

One day her elder brother disappeared. They wandered everywhere looking for him but couldn’t find. Charu’s mother cried thinking of him and became sick, so she was admitted in the hospital in a very bad condition. Seeing this, Charu’s father's heart sank. He was confused about how to manage, Caring for wife in the hospital? Or looking for a missing son? Or taking care of the children at home? He burst into tears. It was December. The house was supposed to celebrate Christmas happily during dawn. It looked like a house of mourning that day. Despite all this happening, none of her relatives in the same town came or cared about them. At this time the little girl fell on her knees and began to pray to Jesus. Father Jesus, no one paid attention to us, when our mother was alive and sick. Who will take care of us if my mother dies? She tearfully prayed that my mother would be well and that my brother would come back, wherever he was. You know what's surprising? Father Jesus heard the prayer of her tears and woke up her mother who could not even get up and gave her complete comfort. Not only that, within a week of her mother's recovery, her brother also came home and joined the family.

 

Dear brother and sister, are you also worried about your alcoholic father, the problems in your family and the persons who are sick in your family? Say all your worries to Jesus and pray. Jesus who helped her and will help you too. Ok.
