Victorious dawn 

 

"Let the morning bring me word of your unfailing love, for I have put my trust in you. Show me the way I should go, for to you I entrust my life." - Psalm 143:8

 

During the dawn. Too dark. . . A wonderful time to be united with the Lord. Before we see any man’s face, we should seek the Lord's presence, wait to know the divine plan for us on that day and receive God's grace, so that we can live a victorious life. If early morning prayer becomes our life style, every Christian will surely overcome the world.

 

Our Savior Jesus Christ also rose up early in the morning and waited on the Father’s feet. By which he came to know the Father's will and plan. Accordingly, he performed miraculous signs and defeated the devil easily. And we read in the scriptures, that the God’s people rose up early in the morning to conquer the enemy and inherit the nations.

 

Moab, who had come to fight against Jehoshaphat, the king of Judah, was very disturbed when he saw the tribes of Ammon. However, the king and the people raised their eyes and hands straight to God and humbled themselves in supplication. What did God say? "Don't be afraid, this war is not yours, but mine," he said. What happened? They rose early to attack the enemy. They placed a choir of praises before the soldiers. As they began to praise, the enemies fell among themselves. Wow! What a great victory!

 

Beloved! Is the adversary of devil terrorizing you? Are you being challenged to be destroyed? Or have men risen up against you? Don't panic. Why should we panic when God stands with us? Is it not the war of the Lord? All we have to do is get up early and stand in the presence of God. Yes, morning prayer is essential! More darkness, more glory, early morning prayer will bring victory. Embrace the early morning waiting experience and live a successful life.
