Revival prayer

 

"And this is the victory that has overcome the world—our faith." - 1 John 5:4

 

There was a village, on a densely forested hill. There was no power, no hospital, nor transport facility or school there. Isn’t it too hard to manage? You have all the facilities, don’t you? We have to thank Jesus for these blessing. Okay kutties! People there, wore moss and beads as garlands. When they faced health issues, they went to the magicians and listened to what he said. Sometimes he asks to make remedy. He will tell them to tie ropes and place hot iron on their body. Sacrifices were also performed frequently. In this village there were two girls named Eva and Amy. Eva suddenly developed a very high fever. Dad took her to the magician. Do you know what the magician did? He placed a hot iron rod on Eva’s forehead. Alas, she could not bear the pain and was throbbing. Pain aside, the fever never subsided.

 

One day the magician said that if the fever does not go down it is a curse. He told to sacrifice her. At that time an unknown person told them about Jesus and gave them a Bible. He gave a medicine for the wound and a pill for the fever and prayed, then left. Little by little the fever subsided and the sore started to heal. On the other hand, they were also making arrangements for sacrifices. Eva and Amy prayed to Jesus. What a surprise! A few hours later the fever is perfect. The burn had healed well. Their parents who came home after work were shocked. When they asked how this miracle happened, Eva said when we prayed to Jesus a light came on me and I got better, their father and mother were very happy. The magician had also heard this. When he said that the God who healed her and gave her happiness was the real God, the whole village itself came out of the habit of performing sacrifices.
