Win Soul 

 

"…and the one who is wise saves lives" - Proverbs 11:30

 

A hospital in the northern part of our country was running very busy. A boy was admitted after an accident and fighting for his life. His relatives said, he was 11 years old and his name was Stephen. He was treated. However, the doctors said that it was difficult for him to survive due to deep injury. But the nurse who worked there went to him and encouraged him, "Don't be afraid brother, your God will heal you." Stephen said, "If I die, I will go to heaven and see Jesus."

 

Stephen was crying when she came back after a while. Seeing that, the nurse again spoke consolingly. Stephen replied, "Sister, I am not crying because I am going to die. I have led 10 people as per my age to Jesus. I am 11 years old this month. Will you accept Jesus as the 11th person?" He asked kindly. The nurse said OK let's see and left. But the boy's question made her think. Meanwhile, Stephen had also evangelized the pagan doctor who had treated Stephen. When the doctor returned home, he was pacing his house thinking about this. While he was telling his wife about this, he was informed that the boy had died. Doctor who arrived at the hospital was melted his in heart. Beside the boy, the nurse was kneeling and praying. "Doctor, I accepted Jesus as the eleventh person according to Stephen's wish," she said with joyful tears.

 

If a dying 11-year-old boy can have such spiritual burden and concern for souls, what about us? The desire of Paul's heart was for Israel to be saved. What is our choice? In today's passage, Paul says that the concern for the church is pressing on me daily. Let us also increase the ministerial burden of the people in the church. Let's dedicate ourselves to win souls. We will see a great Revival in our nation.
