Shall take care tomorrow
"…how shall we escape if we neglect such a great salvation? It was declared at first by the Lord, and it was attested to us by those who heard" - Hebrews 2:3
King Achelous was one of the kings who ruled Greece. He had very little regard for his countrymen. He used to indulge in all kinds of sensual pleasures. There was no development in the country. It was rife with disorder as a result of the king's irresponsible rule. As a result, the people of the country became impatient and plotted to destroy the king. People were looking for a suitable time to carry out their plan. He indulged in more pleasurable life than before, without knowing that people were against him and plotting to kill him. Through he was warned by a letter from close friend that comes a plot to assassinate the king. Even then, the king was unable to read the letter and just ignored it saying that he could look into it tomorrow. At that time, those who were invited to the feast attacked the king and killed him. The king's death was due to his irresponsible behaviour, he postponed to read the letter.
In Old Testament, a man of God named Isaac had two children. Esau and Jacob. Esau was born first and thereby became legal heir to the family birth right. But he ignored it for a red pottage (stew); And in the parable Jesus Christ told in Matthew chapter 25, a man gifted with one talent did not realize its importance and neglected it. We see that the end is hell.
Beloved, the soul that sins shall die. (Ezek. 18:14) The wages of sin is death (Romans 6:23) Scripture warns us of this. Let's take advantage of every day that God gives us by grace and the opportunities that we get. Without postponing saying “We will take care of it tomorrow. Let us say “We will do it immediately without delaying”. Let's live with the strength that God gives us as grace!
