In one night

 

“The LORD will fight for you; you need only to be still" - Exodus 14:14

 

In Washington D.C , the capital of the United States of America, there lived a pious businessman named Miller. Due to the workload of his business, he employed some farmers to look after his agricultural farm where potatoes were cultivated. He priortized God’s than anything else, like going to the church regularly. One Saturday, when he went to visit his farm, he noticed that a kind of potato-destroying insect had filled the farm. He knew that pesticides will kill insects; But he realized that it would take him two days to complete the work, so he will have to miss Sunday service. So, without applying the insecticide he went to church as usual.

 

Two days later he visited the farm which had been destroyed by insects. What a surprise! The potato plants had grown bigger than he had expected. He did not understand how this happened. When he watched closely at the crops, he saw that huge beetles were eating the potato-destroying beetles. Two of the insects were caught and sent to the Agricultural Research Centre, where a reply was received within a few days. "These beetles are not native to America. They are only found in Southeast Asia. God has sent them from 6000 km away overnight to protect your potatoes."

  

Yes, as Jesus Christ said, "Seek ye first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added unto you," when we prefer the Lord's in first place, God will do miracles in all our worldly affairs. The Lord will enslave the enemy in one night of our lives and command salvation. In the 12th chapter of Exodus, an angel raised up against the army of Assyrians and destroyed 1,85,000 of them over night. He sent wasps to drive away the two kings who rose up against his people in one night. (Joshua 24:12). We should also prefer God as our priority. We will overcome the problems that come in life. Hallelujah!!
