Evangelistic work

 

"In the same way, those of you who do not give up everything you have cannot be my disciples…" - Luke 14:33

 

An advertisement appeared in a London newspaper. People are needed to work in dark areas with high risk. It was said that each winner will be given a suitable prize and promotion. This advertisement was given by Artic researcher Sir. Colonel Shackleston. After seeing this advertisement, thousands of youths inquired about it and expressed their desire to come to Artic region. Referring to this ad and the young people who expressed interest in it, Lawrence wrote in his book "Faithful" that "people are needed to serve in hard places and build up the kingdom of God. You cannot expect immediate results from the work you do. You will have to make many sacrifices and perhaps lose your life. How many people would have come forward if Jesus Christ had given an advertisement saying that they might even lose?" 

 

"Whom will I send, who will go for us" is the voice of God that ring loudly in many ears today, but we remain silent as if we have not heard anything. The Lord is looking for many servants to work in his garden. God is looking for people who can work for just one hour every day. He expects us to do the Lord's work in some area, full time or as much as possible. We must not delay in evangelism.

 

We have heard in many sermons that this is the end time. Whatever we do for Jesus these days will pay off for us in eternity. Our feet, which are running earnestly after the world and worldly works, will it work a little for the sake of the gospel? We are standing in the last days

Let's try a little harder to do the Lord's work.
