Fruit bearing plant

 

"Joseph is a fruitful vine, a fruitful vine near a spring, whose branches climb over a wall” - Genesis. 49:22

 

We can’t limit with numbers like one or two. There are so many lessons we should learn from every movement of Joseph's life, who lived fearing the Lord. Shall we see his life as an open book with verse sources?

 

1. Joseph, the beloved son who obeyed his father from childhood and received his love! (Gen. 37:3)

 

2. Younger brother, who did not agree with his brothers for the evil act, stayed away! (Genesis 37:2)

 

3. The one who had the courage to tell everyone the dreams given by God. (Genesis 37:5)

 

4. Even though he was a slave, he was successful person who completed his duties truthfully and perfectly and within the right time. (Genesis 39:2,3)

 

5. The hero who fought against the lust of the flesh day after day and won! (Gen. 39:10)

 

6. He did not relent even when he was imprisoned on a false charge. (Gen. 39:21-23)

 

7. A servant who cared about the welfare of others and helped them also spoke about God in prison. (Gen. 40:8)

 

8. When he used the wisdom that God had given him, he gave glory to God and not to himself. (Gen. 41:16)

 

9. He did not use the power given to him by his will but thought calmly and ruled with efficiency and purity. (Gen. 41:43,55)

 

10. He graciously forgave his brothers who wronged him without seeking revenge. (Gen. 45:15)

 

11. He supported the entire family. (Gen. 46:5,6)

 

12. He treated his old father with great respect. (Gen. 46:29)

 

13. He who believed the Lord's promise and ordered his bones to be buried in Canaan. (Gen. 50:25)

 

Dear youngster! Joseph is an ordinary boy born and brought up in an ordinary family, like you. But how did he express so many good qualities? The fear of the Lord the reason. This is the root of everything. If you fear God, your life will be a model for others to follow.
