In his position

 

"Brother, in whatever condition each was called, there let him remain with God" -1 Cor 7:24

 

In the wilderness “The breeze that came and spoke to the sycamore plant, "Why do you live in such a cruel wilderness? Go to some prosperous place. What good do you have here?" An owl hearing this fought with the breeze. "Mind your own business? It is in the shade of sycamore that I rest myself out for a while. Even small snakes curl themselves up and rest in its shade. If this plant is not here what would be our fate in this scorching sun?" The plant, who was listening to this quietly, was satisfied and thought in her heart, "If I am a blessing to others even if I am in the wilderness, that is my happiness."

 

God has placed each of us in a position according to His will. Are we useful and live as a blessing to others? Today's meditation is to ponder. In the Bible, a master planted a fig tree in his vineyard. But the fig tree was found to be fruitless in its place, useless to anyone and not fulfilling the purpose for which it was placed. Conclusion, the master tells the gardener to cut it down.

 

Are we a blessing to our family, church, society, or is our family or church seems disgrace because of us? Let's think. Even in the wilderness where there was no comfort, the plant was useful. But the master did not eat any fruit from the fig tree planted in the vineyard and watered daily by the gardener.

 

Dear teen! Are you born in a wealthy family, educated in a good college and possessing many talents, yet you are living a life of no use and no blessings? Consider the call you have been called. God has positioned you there to be a blessing to others. It may be a fertile land or even a wilderness. Wherever you are united with Jesus, you will certainly be a blessing to others.
