Spring is spring season

 

"Keep your heart with all vigilance, for from it flow the springs of life” - Proverbs 4:23

 

Once Sathu Sunder Singh went to the banks of river Ganga. Thousands of people were taking holy dip in the river. He spoke to them about Jesus Christ. Since no response, he went down the river with them. He opened the iron box which he had in his hand and put his dirty clothes inside the box and locked it. He dipped the box in water and put soap on it. People asked” what are you doing!” He said was washing his shirt to get rid of dirt! Everyone laughed. How will the shirt inside the box get cleaned if you put soap over the box? They said, you should apply soap on the shirt not on the box. Sadhu replied, the water of this river can’t clean the stains of sin which is inside your soul. If you want, you can clean your body. “Jesus shed his blood on the cross to clean your soul. His blood washes away your sins and sanctifies your soul. May you also have peace and happiness.” he said. Many on that riverbank began to think about the gospel of Jesus Christ. Yes, even today our Indian nation is trapped in many blind practices. People who are looking for happiness, peace and contentment think that they can do something and get it. To open their eyes, the Gospel is the only way!

 

There are many things in this world to give happiness and joy to the human mind for a while. The more you seek worldly pleasures, the more it creates a thirst “Do it again, Do more and more." Therefore, you can never be satisfied with worldly pleasures. This is the truth.

 

But, Don’t we have to worry about such a great salvation that Jesus Christ earned for us by suffering on the cross? The joy, peace, and hope that he gives will always flow in the heart.
