A wonderful testimony

 

"…And afterward, I will pour out my Spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy" - Joel 2:28

 

In a certain area of Chennai, a poor widow mother lives alone with her eight-year-old granddaughter, despite having three children. She read the Bible without fail, would fast and pray earnestly. She seeked God every day and attend Sunday service regularly. She listen to the verse and kept it in her heart also thought her granddaughter. She dedicated her granddaughter to ministry, she educated her with meager income and brought up piously. According to her grandmother's wish, she too grew up as a beloved child of God.

 

Since the mother was alone at home, she put a chair in the middle of her house and imagined Jesus sat on it and according to the verse "I will never leave you nor forsake you." (Joshua 1:5) She strengthened herself and taught her granddaughter. The Lord God is also protecting them with His perfect presence. Last week one evening, while they were praying, as of sudden granddaughter opened her eyes! She saw the Lord Jesus himself sitting on the chair they had kept. What a surprise! Jesus hands and feet were visible. His entire body appeared like a ghost. When the child saw it, she hugged her grandmother with joy and fear.

 

In the last days, ". . . your sons and your daughters shall prophesy . . . and see visions," as we read in Joel 2:28. The Lord himself has revealed him to his children that he is strength, fortress and support. Yes, our Lord is with us and he hears our prayers. So don't worry about anything.
