No rest here

 

“Therefore I run thus: not with uncertainty. Thus I fight: not as one who beats the air” - 1 Corinthians 9:26

 

Nobody is born successful. But a lot of people have become successful. Since countless witnesses are around us, we are going to see about Henry Francis. When he wanted to study medicine, he accepted the calling and studied theology. He wrote the song "abide with me". Since he was suffering from tuberculosis throughout his life, he surrendered his life to God firmly in faith and in spirit. His lips will often say " it is better to get tired from ministry than to rust and die for this world. This makes us alive isn't it?

 

Apostle Paul had weakness in his life. But he didn't mind that and went on sea voyage many times amidst sufferings, sadness, sleepless nights, hunger, thirst, fasting, cold and the list goes on. His journey for Christ is so long. He travelled for Christ till his death. Christ's love induced him. He knew his rest is not in this world, and never rested till he reached the heavenly goal. 

 

Yea, my dear! amidst weakness, Paul and Henry ran for the Lord, their lives taught us one thing. Do not rest. Do something for the Lord! Paul realised this and said in 1Corinthians 9:26 "Therefore I run thus: not with uncertainty." and finished his life victoriously. " Our rest is in heaven and not here" what is your opinion?
