Artistic God

 

“My son, despise not the chastening of the Lord; neither be weary of his correction” - Proverbs 3:11

 

Our India is famous for the art of sculpting. All the states in India has sculptures. There are a lot of tourist places. Mahabalipuram in Tamil nadu is a good example for this. Ajanta and Ellora caves in north India are very special. The world's biggest statue is in China. It stands at 420 feet tall. To install that statue, a throne in the shape of the lotus was made, it stands at 60 feet tall. This statue is 502 ft tall including the building it stands. It costs around 90 crores. It has different statues and sculptors.

 

We can describe our Lord Jesus Christ as a unique and great sculptor. He is an expert in picking a sinful man and sculpting him to radiate the glory of heaven. He had changed those we discard as disgusting into gorgeous in the past. No sculptor can do this in this world. He sculpted the denial in peter and changed him into a great preacher. We know that like Paul, Mary Magdalene, Jacob, a lot of other lives have been sculpted by God and they received heavenly habits.

 

Expert sculptor Jesus is waiting to sculpt you into a useful sculpture. Surrender yourself in His life. He is capable of using you like He did with Moses, a man with a slow tongue used to lead a great multitude. The God who changed Gideon's personality from scared to judge can cast your fears and give you the talents and anointing to lead. Leave yourself to His will and He will sculpt you according to His will. He will remove our unwanted and bad things and turn us into vessels that do His will. Amen.
