Tasteful guest 

 

“To everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven” - Ecclesiastes 3:1

 

Bro. Sekar's family has accepted Jesus. It is a limited family of husband, wife, son and daughter. Daily family prayer, Bible reading, devotion, memory verse is mandatory. Children will never miss to sing as a family and worship the Lord, Sunday service, children's Sunday service. God has blesse that family abundantly. Happiness over flew. 

 

One day father brought a tasteful guest to home. He will be with the family and speak with them when father is around. Rest of the time everything was as usual. After some time, the guest started to become close with everyone, then he will start talking since morning. They started losing the track of time. Morning songs and prayer and Bible reading started declining one by one. He started spending time with them, they also loved to spend more time with him. In a few days, children started spending their study time happily with the guest and they forgot their study time. The guest will be with the students in their dinner time. So, they as a family will talk about the things happened in their village, accidents, politics and so on and they lost the track of their time, it became their pass time. Nigh prayer was gone. The new guest turned the family towards him. He made them forget God, people and family. They went to church late and skipped sometimes. Sunday school was forgotten. 

 

Who is this tasteful guest? none other than Mr. TV. He took all the morning time that should be given to God, time spent with the family to help and talk, time that should be spent by going to church and worship God. Fight and guilt started coming into the family. Father started thinking seriously. Children talked like cartoon. He saw the children slid in God fearingness and in education. he took a good decision. The family sunk in sadness when he kept the guest in a box and took it for resale. But in a few days the normal life came back. Singing and studying sound started echoing throughout the house again. 

 

Little children! don't you get addicted to T.V. Don't spend your entire time with T.V. Be careful when watching T.V. Turn it off after watching useful programs for a short while. It is good always.
