What is victory

 

“If God be for us, who can be against us?“ - Romans 8:31

 

The king of Germany Patrick was going through the streets of Berlin. A group of people were looking at picture on the wall. The king also went closer to take a look. His picture was drawn as a degrading cartoon and hung at an unreachable height. He looked at it for a second. He was hurt in his heart for a moment. Then he ordered his servant to bring it down and keep it for public to see and went his way. Those who wanted to bring same to him were shamed. 

 

My dear! you might be shamed and ignored because of Christ in your workplace or in your family. You might walk past shame. Your heart might be wounded. Thank God for this painful experience. Accept all these as God has permitted this to improve your spiritual life. If you do, the adversary who wanted to make you tired through this situation will be defeated. 

 

If you can endure the severe criticism by others patiently when you do ministry for Christ, it is your victory.

 

When you cross through suffering, carry the cross for Christ, don't murmur against God but instead praise God by remembering the verse " Blessed is the man that endureth temptation" ( James 1:12). If you do it is your victory. 

 

Finally, don't forget that God can teach and shape you in your hard times than your good times. Keep in mind that when you are being broken, you are being shaped in a way useful for Him and are coming closer to Him to receive His image.
