True friend

 

“Faithful are the wounds of a friend” - Proverbs 27:6

 

Summer vacation has started, are you happy? It is so hot nowadays so don't roam outside. Drink lot of water, listen to your parents okay? You will have friends don't you, look whether those guys are good before befriending them. We are going to listen to a story about that shall we? 

 

Donkey and tiger were friends in a jungle. Are you thinking that this friendship is not possible, its okay shall we listen to what they are talking? Donkey told the tiger, see that beautiful grass. It is purple isn't it? Tiger said grasses will be green in colour and that grass is also green. They argued about the colour of the grass. Suddenly there came the lion king. It asked about the problem. After listening to the problems, lion punished tiger with no food for a week. Tiger said, King, grasses will be green and what I said was correct so why did you punish me? Punishment is not for what you said. You are the minister for the jungle and you have friendship with tiger. Can't a true friend accept your truth and is he a true friend at all? this punishment is for not realising your great responsibility and fighting with a donkey over silly matters. 

 

Did you learn the importance of a good friend? Pray to get good friends in your life, sign of a good friend will correct your mistakes. So you should be a good friend, guide your friends in good way. Okay children?
