I am the reason

 

“Judge not, that you be not judged” - Matthew 7:1

 

A tree cutter was called to cut a tree in pastor's house. His sweat fell on the ground when he was working. He wiped his sweats and said " all because of the sin Adam committed, I'm suffering because of Adam's disobedience. I am working hard because of Adam's disobedience. I am cursed and working hard because of that." Pastor listened to this and wanted to teach him a lesson. 

 

The tree cutter came to get his wage in the evening. Pastor gave him a parcel along with his wage and said, keep this parcel safe while coming tomorrow bring this parcel and I will pay you 100 rupees. Tree cutter received the parcel and went home. He thought if he pays 100 rupees to keep this parcel safe, something valuable must be inside this parcel and opened it. For his surprise there was a mouse inside the parcel and it jumped out of the parcel and ran away. The next day he said this to the pastor. The pastor asked him, yesterday you said everything is because of Adam's sin and are you obedient now? Some will say why did God kept the forbidden fruit in the garden of Eden? If He didn't kept it there Eve wouldn't have committed sin. 

 

The basic problem of humanity is that they blame others for their own mistakes. That day Adam blamed Eve for his sin. Eve pointed at the serpent. Even today we behave in the same way. Parents blame children for their sins and vice versa. Few blame the society and the government for their mistakes. We can't point others for our mistakes when we stand before God during judgement. So my dear, we don't have to be scared about the judgement day if we accept our mistakes and repent instead of blaming others and trying to escape.
