Vacuum 

 

“If you had known, even you, especially in this your day, the things that make for your peace!...” - Luke 19:42

 

A man went to the doctor. The doctor said, you don't have any big problems but it will be satisfying to take some tests and see the results. Test results came. it was confirmed that he didn't have any problems in his body. He said, you said that I dint have any sickness but a strange tiredness occur in me and it stops me from working. After examining him completely, the doctor said "you are suffering from depression and we don't have medication for that. Do one thing, there is a circus near our hospital, there is a clown in it. He will make others laugh with his funny act. So go there and your sadness will be healed". The patient said with tears in his eyes, "Iam that clown". 

 

We can also make others happy with our speech or acts. May be those around us are always happy. So there might be a crowd always. Only we know the emptiness or vacuum in our heart. Each and everyone in this world is searching for something in this world. Someone might thinks, if I get enough money for my livelihood I wont have any worries! Others might think if I get a good job all my sadness will be wiped off. Others might think I will be satisfied if I get good education, promotion, status, good family or something else. 

 

But everyone ha an emptiness in them. None or nothing can fill that vacuum other than the true God Jesus Christ. If you get a treasures worth crores suddenly, it won't fill that vacuum and give you peace. So accept Jesus today. When He is in your heart, if you are short on something in this worldly life, you will still be happy, satisfied and peaceful. He is ready to come into your heart. Are you ready to accept Him?
