Oh valiant warrior!

 

“In all things we are more than conquerors through Him that loves us” - Romans 8:37

 

Hello children! Do you like to hear a story about an angel? You might have dreamt about becoming like an angel, wearing a crown. Haven't you? Shall I tell you about a story about Gideon uncle who talked to angels? 

 

Like the war between Russia and Ukraine, Israelites and Midianites fought war often. God left Israelites in the hands of Midianites because Israelites knew God but didn't obey Him. Sometimes locusts came in great numbers and destroyed the crops. Midianites also came to destroy the ready to harvest crops of Israelites and took their cattle and food. 

 

Israelites struggled a lot. Nobody was there to fight against them. Gideon was in a rush to harvest the wheat in his field and to take it home. Suddenly an angel appeared and said "The lord is with you, valiant warrior". On hearing this Gideon was not happy but he asked if God is with us why has He left us in the hands of the Midianites. Gideon regained his lost faith when the angel said " go in this thy might for Iam with you". 

 

Gideon chased away the mighty army of Midianites with an army of just 300 men. Those who called him a coward now saluted him. 

 

My dear brother and sister, are you scared of things that you can't do? Jesus says "don't be afraid for I am with you". So He will help you to win over things that are impossible for you. So be it your results, studies, games or whatever it may be if Jesus is with you will be successful. Only Jesus can make a coward to a valiant warrior. What do you say! You are okay with it aren't you?
