Niagara falls

 

“At the last it biteth like a serpent, and stingeth like an adder” - Proverbs 23:32

 

Niagara is a popular falls located in North eastern America. It is one of the wonderful sights of the world. 10 million people come to visit this falls every year. This falls is in the shape of a horse shoe at the centre of a river that runs over 56kms. This falls is 55 metres high and 305 metres wide. Bodies of dead animals, broken branches, stones will be washed away in this beautiful river. A dead bear was washed away in this river. Large eagle breeds can be seen in America. An eagle of such a breed sat on the dead bear and started eating its flesh. This eagle was looking back while eating the flesh as the body approached the falls. It thought to eat as much flesh as possible before flying away using its powerful wings. Alas! I didn't realise its end was nearing. It tried to fly as the body was so close to the falls. Its talons were stuck deep inside the dead bear's flesh and it was washed away in the falls and died with it. 

 

My dear brother and sister, in the same way sin in our lives will be tasty at first, it will make us lose track of time and appear as a lot of bad things before getting us stuck in it and separate us far from God. James 11:14-15 warns us by saying " but every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own list and enticed. Then the list hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death." What sin are you entangled with? Are you trying to come out but can't? God is capable of helping you. He will protect you without your foot being stuck. Believe in Him.
