A waiting God

 

“For His eyes are upon the ways of man, and He seeth all his goings” - Job 34:21

 

I was stepping into adulthood from a teenage. I was living in a village where there is no possibility for a gospel meeting. Only I can go to Sunday worship. I am not allowed to go to youth meetings. I will read the Bible and pray in my home. Nobody taught me that watching movies is wrong. Sometimes I'll go if I get a chance. I was determined not to wear flowers and not to go to movies during Lent days. One day I went to a movie of a good director with our family friend's daughter. We can't see the movie. We regretted going there, we bent our heads and spent the time there and came home. I felt like committing a big sin. I can't look into my parents’ face. I seeked forgiveness from the Lord. I decided never to go to the movies again. 

 

Months passed, a temptation came. I got a job as a teacher. I have to take the children to a children's must watch movie. My colleague said, this is a movie about circuses, they show a lot of countries. We can't afford to go there so come. I wished to go there. So I decided to go. 

 

That night I saw a dream. It was a lengthy road. I was walking with a person in white cloak. There was a theatre on the way. I said, let's go inside. He said, "I'm not coming, you can go if you want. l'll wait for you till you come." I looked at him to say" I'm not going anywhere you won't come. Let's go" and started walking with him. I went to school that day and said strongly that I'm not coming.

 

My dear youth! Look at our God's love. If we stray, He waits for us. He is waiting for us like the father of the youngest son. Shall we turn to His love?
