“Let no man therefore despise him...” – 1 Corinthians 16:11

 

Vasantha as born into a poor family. She can't attract anyone with her speech. She was despised not only by this world but also her family. But she was precious and beautiful in the eyes of the Lord. Because she was very true in fearing the Lord and obeying the Bible. When she was working in an office, she was made fun of for her innocence. They used to make her do their work often. She will do it innocently with a smile. She couldn't get married so she was a burden to her family. Groom those came to see her, went away from her because of her appearance. But God gave her a bright life when nobody was expecting it. That groom was a God fearing, lover her innerself, accepted her outer beauty with all his heart. They live a happy life together today. 

 

We all know about a woman despised in the Bible. She was Leah. Jacob loved Rachel more than Leah. God saw that Leah was despised and opened her womb. (Genesis 29:30,31) Yeah, God remembered Leah who was despised. 

 

My dear readers! We might be despised and be forgotten in the eyes of people. But our God id not like that. God's top most plan is to lift up those who were despised in the eyes of others from the dust and garbage and lift them up. This world chose those who are beautiful and knowledgeable and give them responsibilities and promotions. This is the world's choosing. But God chooses the despised. So let us not despise anyone. The might of a tiny match stick can change the darkness.
