Priceless pearl

Richard Wurmbrand, a child of God caught by the communists and tortured for preaching the gospel. Let me tell you a story which happened in Russian border when he was sharing the gospel. It was a snowy season. Slight rain and harsh cold accompanied snow. Two people came from Russia to see him. Richard welcomed them and he was happy once he heard the reason for their visit. Because they came to get Bible. Like Rumania, Christians were tortured in Russia. After two weeks a letter of thanks came. It read, the Bible you gave us is very helpful for us and our neighbouring villagers have heard about the Bible and now they borrow our Bible to read. Lot of other villagers also asked us so we tore the Bible into 32 pieces and shared it with them. 32 villagers in Russia are benefiting from it. He read this and started doing ministry in Russia as well. 

 

My dear, There are lot of Russian, Rumanian and Arab Christians longing to get a Bible. But how many Christians have Bible in their hands and seldom read! How do we escape our God's judgement? Since we are called as Christians, how often do we read the Bible? Most of us seldom read Bible but roam wearing a mask. Let us think , those Russians at that time when they got a Bible in their hands, how seriously and prayerfully could they read the Bible for 30 mins or less. Consume time and read the Bible. It will change your life to a gem. You will see God guiding you miraculously through His words.
