God knows

 

“For the eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout the whole earth.” - 2 Chronicles 16:9 

 

I was travelling in a bus. In a three person seat an young girl sat next to me and she was listening to songs on her headset, next to her was an old lady. After some time, that old lady asked her " My phone's battery is drained so can you charge my phone using that thing on your ear?". That girl laughed at her and said " grandma we cant use this to charge your phone". It is hard for our parents or the elders in our home to understand. Having this as excuse, youth fall into lot of sins hoping their parents doesn't know about this. But don't forget that the eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout the whole earth. He is watching us when we sin. 

 

In the Bible God gave strength to Samson. He killed a thousand with a jaw bone of a donkey. He tore a lion like a sheep with his bare hands. He didn't use the God given strength in proper ways and fell prey to the worldly temptations. He disobeyed his parents and married a gentile woman without his parent's consent. His parent's words became very little before his might. The end was pitiful. 

 

My dear youth! May be your parents might be illiterate or innocent. You can cheat your parents hoping that they don't know anything. Know this, if you fear God in your heart you can't yield to this worldly temptations. God will surely hold you accountable for the sins you commit and this thought will prevent you from sinning. My dear youth, confess the sins you have in your heart and flee from it. Proverbs 28:13 says, He that covereth his sins shall not prosper: but whoso confesseth and forsaketh them shall have mercy. According to that, God will forgive your sins when you confess and perform new things in your life.
