Don't Judge

 

“Judge not, that you be not judged” - Matthew 7:1

 

Nimmy a little girl had two apples in her hand. Her sister asked her to give one to her. So Nimmy started to take a bite from both the apples. Her sister said " you are worse and won't share anything, you shouldn't be trusted." and went away. Nimmy followed her pulled her, kept an apple on her hand and said this apple is sweeter so keep this. Her sister realized her mistake, hugged and kissed Nimmy. 

 

Like this, we misunderstand others and think they are worse and speak ill of them. Or judge them. In psalms 50:20 God rebuke us by saying " You sit and speak against your brother; You slander your own mother’s son." When a woman poured oil on Jesus's feet, she was viewed as a sinner by the Pharisee. But Jesus saw her as she who showed the most love. It will be good if the way we view others changed like Jesus. Let God give us a heart that sees the plank in our eye before judging others. 

 

My dear! Let us be careful about our view and words. Judging others as he is good and he is not, don't do that. Let us pray daily and overcome the temptations like David did in Psalms 143:3 "Set a guard, O Lord, over my mouth; Keep watch over the door of my lips." Because 1 Corinthians 11:31 says " For if we would judge ourselves, we would not be judged." Let us confess if we have judged others and seek forgiveness for it. Let us not continue that mistake. Let us guard our heart with all diligence. For out of it spring the issues of life. Hallelujah.
