He will give the best 

 

“And whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son” - John 14:13

 

William a 5 year old boy went to a shop with his mom to buy toys for his birthday. There was lot of toys and dolls in the shop. Among those was a car, that had colourful lights, made different noises while going fast. He saw that and asked his mom to buy it for him, he was stubborn and started disturbing her. Mom said we'll see and came back. The next day the same car was presented to him for his birthday. He was so happy on seeing that. Then his brother said, you are so happy for this car, but mom was about to buy a big remote control car or you. but you forced her to buy this so she gave you." On hearing this William was sad. 

 

In the new testament, it is written in John 14:13, And whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. We cry and plead to our Lord to meet our needs. Our Lord also give it to us. May be God was planning to give better than what we asked for. But our prayer prevented that. 

 

My dear readers! We will ask for our needs to be met. But our Lord is mighty to give it to us. But He won't be glorified in it. But if we pray "Oh Lord do as You wish for us" Surrendering ourselves to His will, He will give us the best. So, let us receive the goodness He gives us instead of forcing our plans on him. Our Lord's name will be glorified through this!
