Best sacrifice
“He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?” - Romans 8-32
Roman writer Plimy elder writes about the establishment of a 99 feet high stone pillar. 20000 labours were used to stand the heavy stone pillar. It is a job that needs extreme care and responsibility. The king thought, in case of any carelessness this pillar might break, and the efforts put in the making all these years will go to waste so he said, to make this project a success tie the son of the engineer on top of the pillar so that the engineer will complete the job successfully in order to protect his son. So, the king ordered for the son to be tied on top of the pillar. He finished the job carefully so that his son won’t fell. But God the Father sacrificed His own Son for us.
Father didn't think to save Jesus when He was crucified. He hid His face for Jesus to carry the sins of the whole world. Jesus died on the cross for us. Father loved us more than He did His Son. Thats why He did such a sacrifice, cursed is everyone that hangeth on a tree:. So, Father made Jesus cursed for us.
Yea, my dear let us accept that Jesus in our hearts. He that gave His own son will give us other things also with Him. What are we going to do to Jesus for sacrificing Himself for us?. He is interceding with us by hanging on the cross I have died for you! what did you do for me?. What is your sacrifice going to be?
