All women are equal

 

“Who can find a virtuous woman? for her price is far above rubies.” – Proverbs 31:10

 

God created woman as a companion to man for he shouldn't be alone. As a mother, wife, sister, daughter, grand daughter, woman are a wonderful gifts of God. 

 

Woman are unique, created by God and are regarded as the "eyes of our country". Women are successful in many departments. 

 

We know countless successful women and missionary women. Let us see about a woman named Abigail from the Bible. The meaning of Abigail is " cause of joy". Her husband Nabal is an angry and rugged man, drunkard and rich. 3rd verse says, she is a wise woman. Her character is opposite to Nabal and she is a good woman.

 

It was a custom to make a feast and send gifts when they sheer their goats. David knew Nabal has come to sheer is goats so he sent 10 young men to greet Nabal and ask his help. But Nabal, in his rudeness shamed the young men and sent them empty handed. David was furious and decided to go against Nabal, knowing this Abigail went to meet David and his men courageously to give them gifts. She met David apologised as she fell before David on her face, and bowed herself to the ground ( verse 28). She explains it is not good to do bad and blood shed. (verse 31) Abigail's humbleness and wise speech touched David. She returned with blessings and peace ( verse 35).

 

My dear, Like Abigail we in our homes, in our workplace, have to be in good terms with everyone and glorify God through our actions filled with patience, courage, humbleness, wise behaviour and lead a happy life. All woman are equal! wishing you all a wonderful woman's day!
