Kneel down and pray

 

“…he kneeled upon his knees three times a day, and prayed, and gave thanks before his God, as he did aforetime” - Daniel 6:10

 

A missionary organization sent a missionary to a particular village for ministry. He went happily to visit the village. In a couple of days he started his ministry. Months passed. Nobody listened to his preaching. People were arrogant and lived their life as per their wish. He can't even change a single soul after working tirelessly. So he was tired and came to the other side of the village thinking all my efforts were in vain. 

 

There he saw someone breaking stones. He was breaking big boulders with his hammer. This missionary went to him to ask "sir how can you break such big boulders?". He replied, "sir to break hard boulders you should be on your knees. Our strength increases when we are on our knees. We can break hardest of boulders." This missionary understood God is speaking through him in an instant. He was encouraged in his heart and came home. From then he was on his knees for many hours a day and succeeded. 

 

We all know a Godly man who stood on his knees and was victorious. He is Daniel. A decree was passed against him but still he did as before, stood on his knees three times a day before God and praised God. His prayer saved from the lion's den. His prayer tied the mouths of lions. His victory was kneeling down and praying. Yea! standing on knees is the secret to victory. In the Bible, Elias, Paul and Esther were victorious because of their prayer. We can reap good results when we kneel down and pour our heart. may be our efforts fail. But kneeling down and praying will never fail. Similarly, our face will shine as our knees darken and wear away. Kneeling down and praying will break lot of hinderance and make us victorious.
