God's choosing

 

“...God has chosen the foolish things of the world to put to shame the wise, and God has chosen the weak things of the world to put to shame the things which are mighty” – 1 Corinthians 1:28

 

My warm greeting to you in the name of the Almighty Jesus Christ! I was born fourth with 3 brothers. My parents were expecting a boy child and they despised a baby girl. So I didn't receive parent's love. I was entangled and cheated by this worldly temptations. I was interested in studies when I was young. My parents sent me to work. I wan not happy in it. So the Bible was soothing me in my troubled times. I used to question God, "why am I the one to struggle" in my difficult times. His answers will be, "Father corrects the child he loves". Years passed by and God gave happiness in my unhappy life. He gave me good husband, two children best relatives and made me a witness for Him. So we as a family offered us to do His ministry more as a family. 

 

In the Bible, David was forgotten among his siblings and sent to shepherd goats. But he was living, worshiping and Praying to God where he was sent, so he was fearless and victorious when Goliath stood infront of him. Not only that but he was given kingship over the whole of Israel. God Who created this whole world said about David, " Man of My own heart".

 

We might be ignored, cast away or called useless by others. According to John 1:9 "That was the true Light which gives light to every man coming into the world" we have Jesus to make us a shining lamp for this world. He will never forsake those who seek Him. All we have to do is to give our heart to Jesus. God says "For the Lord does not see as man sees; for man looks at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart". Yea, it is okay for us to live for Jesus Who sees the heart". It is sure that God will bless us and lift us up.
