Never forsaking 

 

“…I am with you… I will not leave you until I have done what I have spoken to you.” - Genesis 28:15

 

I am Banu. I am staying in a Bible college hostel and studying there. One day while I was talking to my mom on the phone, she said "the wound in my leg haven't healed in two weeks. It is expanding since I have diabetes. Puss is oozing out. Tomorrow I have to go to hospital for check up. I'm scared." I sat down in the presence of God, burdened and in tears to pray “Lord! I came to ministry obeying your word. I can't take care of her. So You be the eldest brother and take care of everything in my place” and I went to sleep. The next day I asked about her wound she said, the wound she saw at night was healed and shrunk in the morning miraculously. I thanked God. 

 

In the Bible we read about Abraham. He obeyed God, left his country, his people and his business to go to a place where God commanded him to go. God promised him saying "I will not leave you until I have done what I have spoken to you." He guided him perfectly in everything that was promised. When God told him to sacrifice Isaac, he didn't ask anything but obeyed. The result was a goat sacrificed instead of Isaac. It symbolizes Jesus Christ, the Lamb sacrificed for us. Since Abraham was obedient to god, God was with him and blessed him many fold. We call Abraham as the father of faith. 

 

Yea, My dear! God will do good in our lives when we Priorities God over everything else. When you put effort in doing something, obeying His word He is a never forsaking father. He will not forsake You till He has done what He promised. He will do everything for you. He is capable of doing unforeseen miracles in your life when you surrender yourself to Him. Amen.
