New Beginning 

 

“Behold, I will make thee a new sharp threshing instrument having teeth: thou shalt thresh the mountains, and beat them small, and shalt make the hills as chaff” - Isaiah 41:!5

 

There lived a happy and loving family in our village. He was making a living from share market business and living happily, suddenly he got a call from his office to inform that his partner took lakhs of rupees and cheated him. He felt cheated after losing money, possessions surrounded by lies, shame and failures he was pushed into a situation where he thought " I've lost my life, everything is over". He was tired of everything, so he listened to the voice of God, and went to do the ministry so God gave a new beginning to him, now God made him to be a blessing for many in the path of ministry and God helped him to get back the happiness and peace he lost once. 

 

A situation similar to this happened in the life of Simon Peter. Simon Peter is one of the 12 disciples of Jesus. The meaning of Simon is "to hear" and Peter is " a rock" respectively. His occupation is fishing. The sea of Galilee is not new to him. He is expert at fishing in the sea. His first failure in life is that he couldn't find a fish, though he was fishing throughout the night. His biggest failure in life since he accepted Jesus is that he denied Jesus. God's love came seeking Peter when he was tired and heartbroken thinking " There is nothing more in life, everything is over". The voice of God that once said to Peter "Jonah, do you love Me more than these?” gave him a new beginning, hope sprouted in his life. it made him run for God fiercely. It changed him into a pillar for the church. 

 

My dear reader! are you in a similar situation hopeless, In pain and tired? Jesus loves you. He is willing to offer you a new beginning in life. Let us offer ourselves to the voice of God like Peter did. Our life will be a blessing for lot of those who are tired in their life.
