Obedience

 

“My son, attend unto my wisdom, and bow thine ear to my understanding.” - Proverbs 5:1

 

Hello kids! How are you. Are you all happy? Very good. The reason for your happiness is your parents and they are the gift of Jesus aren't they? You should obey them. That makes Jesus happy. Okay are you ready to listen to a story? 

 

An uncle owned a garden, farm and a field. He is a hard worker, he will be in his garden since morning till evening. He had two sons. He taught them to maintain the garden and look after the employees. One day he was sick. He called the eldest son to say " Go and look after the garden". He refused saying "No dad I cant go, I have lot of other things to do". So he called his second son and told him to go to the garden. He said " Okay dad, I will go and finish all the work" and he went with his friends to play. You won't cheat your parents like this will you? Jesus spoke to the eldest brother when he was driving his bike. "Old father was sick so he sent you, and should you disobey him?" so he paused for a minute and started thinking. He took an u turn and went back to the garden and finished all the work his father told him to do gave wages to the employees and came back home. He said " Dad, I finished the work you gave me" and while he was speaking his brother came to say " Sorry dad, I didn't do the work you gave me and went with friends to play" and the father forgave them. But he was sad in his heart. But the elder son refuse to go at first then he obeyed when Jesus spoke to him. This made the father very happy. 

 

My dear children! Will you make your parents happy like the eldest son? Yea, Jesus will teach you good things through your teachers, parents and elders. You will be blessed when you obey them. God bless you.
