Do what you can! 

 

“Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with your might; for there is no work or device or knowledge or wisdom in the grave where you are going” - Ecclesiastes 9:10

 

A man traveling on the Atlantic Ocean got sick suddenly. One day he heard a scream "Someone fell into the ocean" when he was resting. He thought first, what he can do. He got an idea to light a lamp and hang it near his window, so he did it. The light from the lamp fell on the head of the person who fell into the ocean. The rescuers grabbed this man by his hair and saved him. 

 

Like this man if we do what we can for God no matter how small it is, a single soul going towards eternal damnation can be saved. One day, when we go to heaven, God will tell us “Well done, good and faithful servant; you have been faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things. Enter into the joy of your Lord." 

 

The unnamed servant girl lives in Naaman's house did what she can. She said what she know and had faith in it. The result was the salvation in Syria. Yea! Our efforts can be very little. But God is capable of using it for the glory of His name. Do not wait to do great things. Don't expect your light to travel too far. Let us do what we can for those around us truthfully. If we do so, every nook and corner around us will shine. 

 

Yea! Our life is the gift of God for us. If we do little good things for His glory with this life, is the thanks we give Him. Hallelujah!
