Shine

 

“Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven” – Matthew 5:16

 

Hello children! Are you happy and enjoying your life! Are you afraid of light or darkness? Ok you said well. We all are scared of darkness. Though we are scared of darkness Jesus tells us, that we are light for this world! Are you wondering how can we be light, listen to this story and know it yourself. 

 

A king had three sons. He wanted to crown one of his child as the king. But who is wiser among the three? he wanted to know the wise child among the three so he called the to give a room and some money to each and told them to fill it with whatever they want. Take a week to do so. One week had passed by. The king and his ministers went to visit the rooms allotted for his children. He went to his first son's room and opened it. It was dark inside, rats were running here and there. It was filled with hay and it war unorganized and dirty. He went to open his second son's room. It was also dark, He filled his room with cotton. My elder children are like this, they don't know what to keep inside the kingdom. He thought what will my last son filled his room with and opened the door. He was shocked and amazed at the same time! as soon as he opened the door, he saw light inside. With the little money he bought a good lamp and lit it inside. He filled the room with light. The king was happy beyond boundaries. He said my last son has the quality t become a king and crowned him. 

 

My dear children, darkness will be in our hearts if we are in sin. Once we come out of sin our heart will have light in it. Jesus can come and stay in it. Not only that, we should do good and give light to our country which is in darkness. If we do so Jesus will give us everlasting crown when he comes.
