Prayer Meeting

 

“So, when he had considered this, he came to the house of Mary, the mother of John whose surname was Mark, where many were gathered together praying” Acts 12:12

 

An evangelist was invited to preach in a big church. It was winter time. A vehicle came to pick him up at 5 am. He went to the church located on a hilltop. He was wondering who will come to church in this cold weather. He saw more than 1000 people were gathered there and were praying. He was amazed and asked the pastor. He said we will pray daily for our country between 4-5 and we have more than 100 home prayer cells. Yea, these prayer cells are responsible for the revival in South Korea. 

 

In the bible, Peter was locked up in a prison and an order was given to behead him. Church members prayed to God constantly. We can read further that when Peter was released from the prison he came to home and see lot of people gathered there and were praying. Yea, it was not they prayed but praying. See how clearly Holy Spirit has written. Peter was released because of their prayer. 

 

My dear reader! Nowadays lot of people were bound and imprisoned by cell phones, alcohol and lust. What we can do for them is not advising or warns them but pray for them! It doesn't mean that God will listen only when 2000 or 3000 people gather for prayer, but if 2 or 3 people were gathered in His name He promised to be in their midst ( Matthew 18: 20). We are conducting prayer cells in the homes of people we meet. Children of those homes were freed from unwanted things and unwanted situations when we pray for them. To have a big revival in the country, we should have revival in ourselves. This revival fire burning in our family, church will bring a big revival. Try to organize home prayer cells. 

 

For consideration: Remember, if you organise prayer cells in homes, you have sown for the revival of our country.
