Arise Joshua

 

“Go [a]therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.” - Matthew 28:19

 

Hudson Taylor born in England, accepted Jesus Christ in his hopeless childhood through gospel tracts. Then he received a calling to go to China. In 1853 when he was 21, he left England and reached Shanghai. He wanted everyone in China to be saved. Amidst his sickness, he studied medicine and started " The china inland mission" with 22 people. 

 

Struggles continued. His daughter died, his wife died during a child delivery. His sickness were never a hinderance to his ministry. Instead ministry expanded rapidly. In 1895 there were 41 missionaries and 42 Chinese helpers. Christianity grew in communist rule, lot of Chinese people got salvation the number started growing rapidly. After St. Paul, Hudson Taylor is the one who walked with gospel on a vast landmass! Billy Graham, Amy Carmichael, Olympic player Eric Little, 20th century martyrs Jim Elliot, Audrey, Loui people like these were touched by the life of Hudson Taylor and surrendered themselves for Ministry. 

 

If we look at the Bible, God chose Joshua to guide lakhs of people Moses guided before him. Like that today thousands of Joshuas are needed.

 

We are struggling for the revival of our country. Revival won't come from our ministry. We should prepare lot of Joshuas to do the ministry. Keeping this in mind we are struggling as a Grama Missionary group to rise the next generation Joshuas. We are doing our best by conducting youth camps, leadership camps. Pray for us. Dedicate your children to be a Joshua. 

To remember : God used Joshua who walked with Moses. Those who walk with you might be a Joshua, are you a Moses to him? Think!
