House of silence 

 

“When the even was come, they brought unto him many that were possessed with devils: and he cast out the spirits with his word, and healed all that were sick” - Matthew 8:16

 

I went for a gospel meeting in a southern district. There was a worship place for a particular religion. There lot of sick people and those possessed with demon were tied with ropes and chains to tree branches and poles. People had an expectation that if they come there to pray, they will be healed. But their expectations weren't met is what I saw there. After seeing this I started to pray for this. Holy spirit spoke to me. He gave a ministry for such people called " House of silence."

 

For the past 2 years we are sharing gospel to villages. According to the bible, Gospel is shared for the poor; but we can only pray for the sick and demon possessed. When I prayed and wanted these people to be freed, God spoke to me clearly. According to that, we wanted to let them stay with us for 10 days and prayed foe them in the morning an evening and give them counselling from the Bible. Like this we started to pray daily for the people who are in bondage. Now we are preparing a small church and small rooms for these people. This house of silence is doing its part in preparing a tiny group of people for God. 

 

In todays devotion, we can learn that we have to do what we can in Christ for the needy. People who can pray and fast are needed in great numbers to work for God. Jesus Christ says" This kind can come forth by nothing, but by prayer and fasting." Come forward to get freedom for the those who are in bondage in villages. Let us unite and act for God. Let God guide us!
