Wonder among wonders 

 

“I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made marvelous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well.” - Psalms 139:14  

 

God miraculously created man in His own image and by breathing His life into him. We will be amazed if we look at how our body was created. In our body, there are 37.2 trillion cells, and they are categorised into 200 types. There are 100 million neurons in our brain. We create more than 50000 thoughts every day. Our brain can handle around 1 quadrillion data. We have 60 million touch sensors in our body. Our eyes can differentiate and see 10 million colours. We can differentiate between 50000 smells. We breathe 23,040 times a day. our heart beats 1,15,200 times a day. Our heart can function for some time after it has been removed from the body due to the electric force it has in it. A child's body has 300 bones, and an adult has 206. Our fingers can sense a object as small as 14 nanometres.

 

How wonderful is this body, which has been created by God? Without his wish not even, a hair will fall down! How great is His love! He Who said, I will neither leave thee nor forsake thee, has with us and guided us during shadow of death, in the valley of tears and during the times of blessings.

 

Can you feel His presence and guidance in each of your moves, if you turn back and review this year? Or are you complaining about smallest troubles like, why did this happen to me? Why am I like this? think for a while. WE are wealthy if our organs functioning properly. Yea, we don't have to give in lakhs to the doctor. We can't restrain ourselves from praising Him, for He has created us by His own hands, in His own image and kept all these wonders inside our body. Let us realize that this body filled with wonders is a gift from God. He has kept us alive till this moment amidst the sickness and struggles we have. Yea, let your heart be filled with gratefulness by thinking all these. Let us welcome the upcoming year with thankfulness.
