Star News

 

“Those who are wise shall shine like the brightness of the firmament; and those who turn many to righteousness like the stars forever and ever” – Daniel 12:3

 

During Christmas we will be cleaning our homes, painting it, making crib, hanging stars getting new clothes and will be excited about this. Nowadays not only Christians but also friends from other faith also hang stars in their homes, it makes us happy. We cannot stop at hanging stars in our homes but also got the responsibility to do the "job of the star." 

 

During the birth of Jesus, the star started the job that God offered perfectly, guided them to the place where the baby is and completed the job perfectly. The star guided the wise men to the Baby Jesus, in the same way we should be like the star guiding others to Christ through our daily lives, through our speech, through every walk of life and it is given to us.  

 

We can read that "And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars forever and ever." Our parents and neighbours, are they happy on seeing our lives? If we live our life as a guide, others can approach us with love, or they will ignore us by looking at our characters. 

 

God has allotted individual runways for all the stars. We can see some stars burn and fall down when they move away from their runways. If we stay on the runway God has allotted for us and surrender ourselves to God, we will be shining stars to this world. 

 

Let this star news be carved in our hearts and let God's will guide us.
