Christmas increases faith

 

“Blessed is she who believed, for there will be a fulfillment of those things which were told her from the Lord” - Luke 1:45

 

Three people went to the deep spot in Caribbean sea to bath and spend time. While they were bathing in a certain spot, the eldest person there panicked and scared so one among them called to his side to help him. He said, here is a rock and you can stand on it. First he didn't believe and he went there as he saw his friend is standing on a rock. Now he got a place to stand. Now he is not scared for the water and its pressure is around him. He had hope as he is standing on a rock. 

 

Let us go to the Bible through this incident. Elizabeth and Zachariah a couple lived when there was no hope or vision. 400 years after the period of Malachi is called as the "silent years." It is said that Elizabeth was called barren. Elizabeth's life is filled with sorrow and misery. (Luke 1-7,24,25). God interfered in this sorrowful period. He who makes way in wilderness and rivers in desert blessed Elizabeth with happiness of twofold blessing. Elizabeth a barren woman became pregnant, the news that the Savior Jesus Christ will born through Mary her relative made her forget herself in happiness. 

 

She says "Blessed is she who believed, for there will be a fulfillment of those things which were told her from the Lord." Elizabeth's first Christmas increased her faith and filled with happiness. 

My dear! This Christmas will bring goodness to you. Do you believe ? Do you feel surrounded by great waters, misery and scared ? Jesus Christ being a Rock, is there to catch and support you. Stand firmly on the Rock. Great waters will not damage us. You don't need the unnecessary fears. Increase your faith in Christ. We wish you to have a wonderful Christmas along with Elizabeth.
