Fire in the cabin 

 

“...All these things are against me” - Genesis 42:36

 

A ship caught in a cyclone and crashed against a rock to break into pieces. One of the passengers reached an uninhabited island by floating on wood fir three days. There he built a wooden cabin to live there, by hunting and eating animals. He will climb on trees to see for any ships passing by. He often prayed; Send a ship for me to go back to my country Jesus. One day he saw his cabin was burning while he returned from hunting. He started crying on seeing that. Suddenly he saw a life saving boat came there. The captain said "We saw the fire and thought, maybe there might be someone living on the island and came here" and tool him with them. In judges 6 Gideon said to the angel appeared to him "If the Lord be with us, why then is all this befallen us?" But God transformed Gideon into a saviour through this incident. He saw Gideon as a mighty man. 

 

In the Bible Jacob struggled with God in prayer and won. But losing his favourite son Joseph gave him unbearable sorrow. It appeared as it happened against him because he didn’t know that God did this to save him and his family from the famine that is about to come. 

 

My dear brothers and sisters! If such things happen against us in our life, we should have faith in God by believing; you will do everything for my good and surrender our life in His hands. Do not afraid even if our tiny brain views that everything is against us. Let us wait and receive the goodness that our Heavenly Father has in His hands for us! Amen!
