Priceless treasure 

 

“For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also” - Luke 12:34

 

Alexander when he was getting ready for war, called his soldiers, favorite friends and wrote his will and gave it to them. He didn't have anything for him. One of his friends told him, you don’t have anything on your name for that he said, I have the most valuable treasure "Faith". 

 

For surely is a hereafter, And your hope will not be cut off (Proverbs 23:18). Don’t lose the faith in God even if you lose everything. God gave Isaac to Abraham- Sarah couple as they had faith in God, multiplied their generation like the stars in the sky. Despite suffering lot of difficulties, betrayals and dangers, the psalmist David says in Psalms 39:7, "My hope is in you Lord." In Job's life he received everything he lost twofold because of his faith in Jesus amidst all the sufferings, temptations and loss. Do we have our faith in our Lord? 

 

My beloved! We all might think. Who knows all my struggles, confusion in my life, great many loss, debt struggles, terrible diseases, hindrance in marriage, unable to have children, loss in business, separation in the family? How can I stand in faith? We could have lot of questions like this in our heart. But sing like a devotee, " my belief is in Jesus alone, be it I don’t have nothing to believe." In Jeremiah 29:11 God says "For I know the thoughts that I think towards you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope." Let us surrender ourselves to our Lord and rise high by flapping our wings! Hallelujah!
