Bible is Light

 

“Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path” - Psalms 119:105

 

Babu a young man lost his sight in an accident. He was screaming and throwing things in his reach because he was surrounded by darkness. One day someone came to share the gospel; he was caring and loving towards Babu. Babu was peaceful around him so Babu's parents asked him to come daily. Babu started accepting his situation in a week. Babu's parents asked him, "How can you change Babu in a week?” He said, "I myself is a partially blind. The words of Jesus guided me, healed my wounds. Babu also found that word which is light. So he is happy."

 

In this busy world, we are ignoring the Bible by keeping it in cupboard and mobile, saying we got no time to read the Bible. So whenever tough situations arise, we are worried as if our eyes are blinded and left in the forest. We done read the Bible or after reading we don’t meditate since we know Jesus said, " For assuredly, I say to you, till heaven and earth pass away, one jot or one title will by no means pass from the law till all is fulfilled" (Matthew 5:18). But his delight is in the law of the Lord, and in His law, he meditates day and night. Because the Bible has answers for our questions and the light for our path. So, if there is any slides or hindrances in the life of those who delight in the Bible, they will push forward protecting their salvation. 

 

 My dear! We have Google map and many similar navigation tools to guide our way, but in our lives the guides to reach Jesus is the Bible verse. Bible verses can be the light and guide us when we don’t know what to do and give us the faith and happiness to live. Let the Bible verses are in our hearts rather than hands. Let our lives shine.
