Daily Devotion (English) – 22.11.2022

 

Call unto Him. 

 

“And call upon me in the day of trouble: I will deliver thee, and thou shalt glorify me” - Psalms 50:15

 

Kelovei was working in a closed church. A bird came into the church through a tiny opening. It flew here and there inside the church for a while and tried to find a way out. It started searching a way out. He tried to catch the bird when i flew close above his head. But the bird escaped him and searched a way out again. He followed the bird wherever it flew, the bird escaped his hands but tried to go out. It didn't notice the window he opened. Then it flew faster towards a glass window, hit it and fell down injured. Kelovei took the bird in his hand saying "I would have freed you long back if you'd let me. But you didn't come to me but fell down, opened the window and freed the bird." It flew away freely. 

 

Saul was jealous of David since the day he killed Goliath. He thought to kill David with a spear. But God saved David from Saul. God had lot of escape plans for David whenever Saul tried to kill him. We know that David calls for the Lord during troubles and He delivers David from his troubles. 

 

My dear those who are reading this! We all have someone capable of helping us when we are in trouble. He is Jesus. But sometimes we forget the God Who helps us during troubles. Our troubles might be dangers, unwanted fears, some situations or sickness. Sometimes words of others. If we call unto the Lord amidst such troubles, He will deliver us for sure.
