Change the people to change the world.

 

“And He said, "Your name shall no longer be called Jacob, but Israel; for you have struggled with God and with men, and have prevailed" - Genesis 32:28

 

A pastor was preparing for his worship. His 6-year-old son was playing in his room and making noise. It was disturbing for the pastor. So, he thought what can he do to stop his son from disturbing him, he found a world map in his table. He tore the map into pieces, gave it to the boy and told him to fix this map to get a prize. He fixed the map within 2 minutes and came back. He asked how you can fix this quickly. The boy said that the back side of the map had an image of a man. So I flipped it, kept it in a paper and arranged the face, I flipped it back after arranging the face to get the world map correctly. He said to correct the world correct the people. He took it as a message for that day's worship. 

 

Like this Jacob thought everything is going well in his life. He cheated his brother and father. As a result, he was cheated by his nephew. Then he met God while returning to his own country. He wasn't changed and was scared about his brother Esau despite having wives, children, livestock and riches. Then he was alone and struggled with God. I think God told Him to leave behind his old thoughts and character. He was changed to Israel as he accepted the change in him. He was blessed by God and forgets the enmity. 

 

My dear brothers and sisters! Are you good in the eyes of the Lord? Our God will never blame us and point out our shortcomings as we are all imperfect. Instead, He points out our mistakes and heals them. He is ready to change the character of tour flesh and bless you. Are you ready to change your fleshly character and be blessed? Or are you still going to struggle? The decision is in your hands. Embracing hand is stretched wide, longing for you.
